How we got our start?

At American Mutt Tools, we are dedicated to empowering DIYers and construction professionals to tackle even the toughest tasks with confidence and ease. Our tools are carefully crafted to provide the reliability and durability needed to handle any job, from small home improvement projects to large-scale construction sites.

How did you get the name "American Mutt"?

Our brand was named after our founder’s rescue dog. When he asked what the breed of the dog that he was adopting was, the owner of the rescue said that she was an “American mutt” as she did not know the exact breed of the dog. Coincidentally, our founder was just about to launch our first product at the time, but still had not come up with a name for the company. The name American Mutt stuck and we have been called that since our founding in 2019.
